Where did the time go?

Hello everyone!
I am very sorry that I have pretty much not written anything for the whole second half of the trip. It went by so quickly and unfortunately I don´t have a lot of time to write now either. I can´t remember everything I wrote in the last post and I´m too lazy to take the time to read through it right now so here´s what I think has all happened since then.
I went to Morocco. It was definitely an experience. It was interesting to see the way people live there. It was kind of like walking into a living museum. They still wash their clothes in the river and have public baths that they get to use only two times a week. But I got to ride a camel! That was my goal for the trip and I did it! It was fun even though the guy just walked the camel around in a circle in a parking lot for about 1 minute - ha! But I rode a camel in Africa none the less.
I paid for the trip dearly by getting really sick for a week after until I finally went to the doctor and got some medicine. By the time I went I could barely stand up straight and I would wince in pain if anyone even touched my stomache. Apparently even if the cooks at the hotel say that they used boiling water to wash the lettuce and fruits you should never trust them. I learned tha tthe hard way. But I am feeling much better today.
Unfortunately, I was sick the whole time I was in Lago, Portugal the following weekend. I still had a lot of fun even though I was in a lot of pain. We stayed at a really cool hostel that had a lot of young people from all over the world staying there too. Lots of people were back for their 3rd or 4th time and some were getting jobs there because the the city is so hard to leave. The beaches are beautiful and there are caves to explore around the beaches. The people in the city are so friendly and welcoming and pretty much everyone speaks English. One night we watched the sunset from some cliffs that overlooked the Mediteranean Sea and then spent the night on the beach around a campfire and woke up for the sunrise the next morning. It was amazing. Quite possibly my favorite night abroad so far!
We also celebrated the fourth of July at the hostel. Because there are so many people from Canada, Australia and America that stay at that hostel, the hostel celebrates the holidays of all those countries. So we had a giant barbecue -my first one since coming abroad! It was delicious, excpet for the fact that eating anything made my stomach hurt even worse. There were also games of beer pon - very American- and American music like Tom Petty and the Red Hot Chili Peppers all day long! It was so much fun! We met so many cool people and I learned some new phrases from Australia lik e "That´s killer! Bud eh?! I guess I don´t say it excatly right but it is a pretty big phrase there. I made fun of them for it because you can´t tell if it is an expression or a question. So that was an amazing trip to say the least. It was my favorite so far. The mom of the people that own the hostel makes crapes every morning with this really good lemon tea - I learned how to make it mom :) Everyone in the hostel calls her "mama" and she was always asking me how I was feeling. She was very sweet.
This weekend I am going to Pamplona Spain for the running of the bulls!! I am quite excited! It should be an adventure. I leave tonight at 130. Right after our farewell dinner. I am taking all my things with me so I can store what I am not planning on keeping around for my travels the next two weeks in a locker at the Madrid airport. So I need to get all packed up today before I leave. In Pamlona we are not getting a hostel and we are going to try to just make it without sleep. We have an overnight bus tonight to sleep on. Then we´ll check out the running with the bulls tomorrow and try to stay up all night. Then Saturday some people are going to try to run wtih them, I don´t think I´m feeling quite well enough for that yet. Saturday night we have an overnight bus back to Granada and we´ll get here early Sunday morning. Then eveyrone is packing on Sunday so I´ll just hang out with whoever and then that night we´ll probably all get together one last time since everyone leaves on Monday. I will be here till Tuesday so Monday will be my one day of rest before my European adventure Part II begins. Tuesday I meet up with 2 of my brothers, there friends and two of my friends in Madrid. I am excited but it will be interesting because I will be so tired and they will all be so excited to be getting to Europe. It will be an interesting combination. I am very excited to see my friends and my brothers though. It will be a nice reunion.
Then we´re spending a few days in Madrid, then Barcelona, then we all fly to Italy. In Italy we are going to Rome, Florence (I think) and then a place near Tuscany. I have not had a hand in much of the planning since I have been here in Spain but I´m sure everywhere we are planning on going is going to be awesome! I´m very excited for the trip!
We fly back home out of Madrid and I get home July 30th! I can´t wait to have Mexican food again! The food here just isn´t cutting it anymore. I also am excited to see everyone but I know I will be very sad to leave Europe. I am already sad just to leave Granada but my time here has been so incredibly amazing it is nice to leave with so many good memories.
I am sorry I never got more pictures up. The internet at my school isn´t very fast so it takes a long time to put the pictures up and I guess I just never got around to it. I don´t know when I will have internet again during this trip since I don´t have it at my host family´s apartment and after I leave there on Tuesday I have no idea what hostels we are booked at and whether or not they will have Internet. A lot of them do so hopefully I will be able to get one from time to time to check comments here, or my email.
I hope you are all doing really well and are having great summers! I miss you all and can´t wait to see you all again and talk to you!
¡Hasta agosto! (Until August!)
